Yes, Skinfood is definitely my favorite BB cream brand (of the one’s I’ve tried so far that is!). Although I have a bit of a gripe with the colours available I love the way it protects my skin from the sun and environmental allergens without exacerbating oiliness or spots. My problem with the colours is that there are only two available and neither suit my skin tone. They have light and dark, the light is very ghostly pale and the dark is for naturally dark skin tones of which I am neither. I do think that the tones where designed with Asian skintones in mind, which does make sense given this is a Singaporean skincare brand. Anyway, I still use …
Skinfood is my favorite brand of the moment, and my favorite BB cream brand so far. I actually have picked up no less than *three* different types of BB cream from them recently. The first I purchased was this Mushroom BB cream for mature skin. Pretty much all BB creams are multi-functional in that they provide SPF and blemish coverage (ie act like a foundation). I am intrigued by them because they are not really like your average foundation. They provide a much heavier and long lasting coverage than most foundations I’ve tried without being caky I think this particular BB cream achieves this by providing good hydration. July’s giveaway has been a bit late coming, but here it is. I have picked up five Skinfood cucumber face masks for you to try. To enter just leave a comment about why you want to try one of these soothing masks. Since trying Skinfood’s Lettuce and cucumber jelly I have been trying out more of their products, especially those that sooth and hydrate the skin. Of these, these cucumber soothing masks have been a stand out for skin in need of a little TLC. To use them, simply unfold the wet mask and place on your face after cleansing. You can leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and there is no need to cleanse afterward, simply rub any …
There seems to be a lack of good sensitive skincare for oily skin. Most products seem to be for both sensitive and dry skin and it can be hard to find a shear, non heavy cream that is soothing and will calm oily sensitive skin. I think I found a perfect concoction for this and that’s Skinfood’s Lettuce and Cucumber Water Jelly. Skinfood is a Singapore brand which is not available in Australian stores. It can be found online however and recently I was able to pick some Skinfood products up on my travels. I got this jelly, their mushroom BB cream as well as a facial mask for sensitive skin which I’ll be reviewing soon. As for the jelly, …
