First off I want to say that you should never use an exfolliant or scrub on an eczema flare-up, never, ever. Skin in an irritated, broken or sensitive condition doesn’t need to have skin cells scrapped of it. That said, sensitive skins can sometimes benefit from scrubs that slough away the dead skin cells, but only when their skin is in a relatively robust state to begin with. Weekly exfolliation can help rejuvenate the outer layers of the skin and prevent the build up of dead skin cells that can contribute to itch. It can also help control acne by clearing clogged pores and help dull or dry skin by getting rid of dead skin cells.. If you have …

I tried this out while traveling a while ago. I went into a parapharmacy and was recommended something much more expensive, when my friend asked if there was anything less expensive she brought out this. it’s actually a bit pricey itself at around $40 US a jar, I tried it anyhow and I have to say the best thing about this is it’s smell. It has the most amazing peachy, honey scent that isn’t too sweet but really quite sophisticated. The cream itself is quite nice and smooth, you only need to use a small amount compared to cheaper creams so it is not to un-economical. It claims to assist repair of the skins natural barrier and comfort irritated skin. …

B.B creams are a new kind of all-in-one cream from Korea. BB stands for blemish balm, although these creams tend to be more like a cream or a foundation than a balm. By all-in-one they are meant to 1. moisturize the skin 2. while covering like a foundation and 3. providing sun protection 4. heal acne and 5. anti-aging care. They also claim to lighten the skin tone, but I think that is mostly through the make up coverage and perhaps by helping to heal redness as well. BB creams are also formulated to be gentle to sensitive skin; the story goes that they were designed for use after laser resurfacing procedures. Missha seems to be one of the top …

A little bit of sunburn dryness, a little irritation from mozzy sprays and dirty creak water and just overall dullness due to dehydration and not getting a good nights sleep for a couple of days. There was nothing specifically wrong with my skin, just a conglomeration of little things that added up to a few bad-skin-days. I had a sample packet of this stuff lying around but didn’t really have a chance to test it out until this week. I took the opportunity to see if it would make any difference on my tired looking skin and am pleased to say a big yes. First off …

I used this when I first converted to wipe-off cleansers rather than washing my face with water. At the time my skin was sensitive and dry and the change did it good. I used this to both cleanse and remove make up, which it did nicely. Because i had no problems with it initially I bought another bottle after I had run out. After about half way through using the second bottle I found that it began to sting my skin. I switched to Avene’s micellar lotion and had no more problems, but I prefer Biodermas Crealine H20. Recently I revisited the nuxe cleansing water and it still stings my skin and leaves it red, especially if I’m not extra …
