I’ve reviewed the Toleriane riche cream for dry skin previously and thought I’d add a review for the Toleriane lotion for normal-combinaiton skins that I have been using as well. I always use either of these toleriane creams in conjunction with the Cicaplast healing gel whenever I have an eczema break out because they never, ever cause even the slightest bit of irritation for me and the Cicalplast is almost as good as steroid creams at healing eczema. Basically my review for the riche version holds here, except I use the Toleriane riche cream when my skin is extra dry and the lotion for combination skin when it is on the oily side. This is usually a summer/winter …

This is one foundation I use when my skin is really dry, I don’t think it’s so great when my skin is a bit on the oily or combination side as it tends to shine up with it on. Despite that, on dry skin it is fabulous at protecting red, sensitive skin whilst hiding it from the world at the same time. It does come on a bit thick looking so try and be sparing with your application. I like to use this particular foundation with make-up sponges as they can be used to apply liquid foundation more thinly, but be warned they also soak up a lot of the foundation themselves which can be bad cost-wise. This is …

Sun exposure (inadvertent or not), oral contraceptives, pregnancy and simply getting older are all causes of uneven skin pigmentation. Freckles do fit into the spectrum of skin pigmentation however I think the dark spots you get from hormonal changes and damage are slightly different. The best way to avoid them is to wear good sun-protection, however if you already have pigmentation you may want to try a topical cream to minimize and even get rid of it all together.
There are various products available that generally fall under skin whitening or brightening categories. La Roche Posay make both a whitening range which features a topical vitamin C serum called ChromaWhite but also this particular cream, Mela-D Daily depigmenting care with SPF …

The La Roche-Posay ‘Toleriane’ line is designed for sensitive, reactive skin. The La Roche-Posay ‘Roseliac’ gel cleanser is one of my favorite cleansers to use in the shower, the roseliac line being good for skin redness. Since I liked that so much I thought I aught to have more of a look at their sensitive skin range. I had only ever tried the individually portioned eye make-up remover from the toleriane line so far, and found it to be brilliant on really sensitive skin. I actually use it for my whole face if it’s very sensitive as I figure if it’s suitable for the eye area it will more than suitable for the sensitive skin on the rest of my …

I’ve been using this for a while but wanted to hold off on reviewing it for fear I would come across as a blathering idiot raving about how good it is. The thing is I love this to bits and I don’t even really know what to call it. It’s not really a gel, a salve nor a cream. It has an almost gel like consistency but it feels a tiny bit greasy when rubbing the fingertips together. Despite this it absorbs into the skin like a dream. I’ve been using this as a night cream and there is no residue left after I cover my face with a moderate amount. The skin feels remarkably different with this on, …
