I thought it’s about time I post about my all time favorite mineral make up so far. You want to know what it is? Well I suppose the title gives it away already but it is in fact Minerelle’s powder compact. Not only is it the most gorgeous make-up compact I own, it is also the best quality mineral make-up I’ve ever used. I don’t know what it is they put in it exactly, but whatever it is it’s good. This covers all skin imperfections brilliantly from pigmentation to redness from rosacea. I use it as my daily make-up as it’s also lovely to carry around; the compact is secure and looks great with everything with it’s suave gold packaging. …
Although I like to review products specifically designed to be improve sensitive skin sometimes I like to review regular products that are just compatible with sensitive skin. I think most of clinique’s make-ups would fit into this category as I’ve tried a few now and none have caused me any irritation, I have had a few clogged pores but that was a long time ago and not this particular foundation. The foundation is in liquid form and goes on very smoothly leaving a glossy sheen on your face. this can be buffed into a matt finish with a make up brush or even the tip of a finger. I would apply with your fingers first, rather than use a foundation …
If this stuff came with an SPF I would be one very happy customer. As it is, it is a nice medium coverage foundation for the most sensitive of skin. It’s called toleriane for a reason as it is very well tolerated. As a foundation this is okay. I apply it with fresh sponges or occasionally with a dry foundation brush for a buff finish. The coverage is pretty good and will hide most blemishes, although if you use to much it develops a thick visible layer that screams “I’m wearing make-up”. It hi
des skin redness and scaliness pretty well too, which is great because that is when you’d need to use this. I would use this if …
This is my favorite cover-all foundation. It really does last a long time. it looks the same as when you applied it in the morning 12 hours later at night, it’s that long lasting. It definitely provides a heavy coverage and it will look like you have make up on but not as much as you’d expect for the coverage. Spots and imperfections are masked well. I recommend using a bronzer or blush to provide some contour to the cheeks and brow when using this foundation because it really does provide a blanket coverage of the face. It is not sheer at all. If you have a special event where you want to cover skin imperfections this is definitely a …
This is a good light weight foundation that provides medium coverage. It goes on like silk and gives the skin a really nice silky sheen. The lasting power is not strong however, and the perfect satin finish doesn’t last to long past the application. It is not so much a gloss or a matt foundation but lies somewhere in the middle. I’ve heard that this is a foundation of choice for some photographers as the luminescent quality tends to show up nicely in pictures giving the skin a nice healthy glow. I’d agree with this however wearing it does make you look like you’re wearing make up, it’s not as natural a look as It could be. Wearing this …
