After I read good things about ceramide creams for eczema I was on the lookout for a ceramide cream in the shops at home. Pretty much the only thing available in Sydney shops at the time (and probably still now) was Elizabeth Arden’s Cermide Plump Perfect cream so I gave it a try. It does claim to restore the ‘integrity of the skins surface barrier’ or some similar claim and I figured that since it contained this key ingredient that I had heard of that it might be beneficial to eczema inflicted skin. It is also heavier, and tends to sit on top of the skin and rubs off easily staining clothes. It does protect your skin from the sun, which is the primary reason I bought it and is a huge plus however I think that there are better products out …
