Another great Avene cream for extra sensitive skin types that I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed yet. This is a reliable cream that I have been using for years for extra dry, eczema afflicted skin. I recently took advantage of the strong AU dollar and bought some more recently from the Pharamundi amazon store here at a much better price that you find in Australian priceline stores and with a fairly cheap delivery fee too; international delivery is one thing that can negate the benefits of purchasing skincare overseas, but in this case it’s not a problem. I can vouch for the quality of the cream as it was the same old cream I have always used, really good at …

Wow, am I happy to have stumbled across this. Holistic Hair makes a shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair that has me floored. First off it smells great, like geraniums and rose mainly and it’s not an artificial scent either but one coming from the natural essential oils used. Second, their products are completely free of Sodium Laural Sulfate and all the other chemicals that you find in your average hair care products. It is fragrance and soap free like any good eczema wash should be. It also claims to hinder the proliferation of micro-organisms on the skin which is important for preventing infections in areas where the skin might be broken from eczema. I assume that there is some kind of antibacterial ingredient in this but I’m not sure what it is. To use, pump one or two squirts between the hands and rub them together to form a thick foam. Then massage into the face or body …

I’m not sure if you can still buy this product from Kiehl’s, I think it’s been around for a while. I picked up a 4 oz jar of this from Amazon for $30 a while a go and I still have a lot left after using it pretty regularly. This is an excellent eczema emollient cream, and I think I’ve seen this recommended for eczema by others. A small amount covers a large area of skin so I use this on both my face and body even though it is a facial cream. I put in on dry areas to prevent eczema and also if I get a patch anywhere. I also use this as a ‘safe’ night time moisturizer. …
