I recently got myself the Dermalogica sensitized skin pack. Although it is deemed suitable for “sensitized skin” is is also perfectly suitable (and perhaps just as ideal) for sensitIVE skin. What’s the difference between sensitized and sensitive skin? Well, one is more a feature of an individuals genetic make-up, the other is usually a response to overuse of various cosmetics and skin care treatments. In my opinion sensitized skin can occur in people with sensitive skin, but it is usually characterized by a reaction to external factors, such as developing sensitivity to a particular skin care ingredient. I tried this tinted moisturizer when I had some eczema break out on my cheeks. It only stung the tiniest bit and finding and SPF product that is tolerable on eczema is quite a feat so I’m giving this points for that. The coverage is very sheer and wont hide any imperfections but may make them fade a little bit.  It is also very luminescent, like tiny little sparkly particles are on the skin. If this sparkly look suits you then you’ll like this. I think it is quite gentle on the skin and I haven’t had any real trouble with my skin getting irritated from this alone.
