Minerelle: Mineral Foundation Powder Compact
I thought it’s about time I post about my all time favorite mineral make up so far. You want to know what it is? Well I suppose the title gives it away already but it is in fact Minerelle’s powder compact. Not only is it the most gorgeous make-up compact I own, it is also the best quality mineral make-up I’ve ever used. I don’t know what it is they put in it exactly, but whatever it is it’s good. This covers all skin imperfections brilliantly from pigmentation to redness from rosacea. I use it as my daily make-up as it’s also lovely to carry around; the compact is secure and looks great with everything with it’s suave gold packaging. The size of the compact is also perfect with a mirror just big enough to get a good view of your entire face when applying your foundation powder. To hide imperfections simply apply additional layers with a brush, patting the powder on to the areas you wish to mask. I highly recommend trying Minerelle’s foundation brushes as well, they are also the best I’ve tried so far. This is an Australian made mineral make up which makes sense as I’ve heard that Australia sources the best mineral ingredients for cosmetics and makes the highest quality mineral make-up. I can not express how much I adore Minerelle’s foundation compact, mine is in the Claire shade by the way which is great for masking redness. The coverage can be controlled perfectly by the amount you use on your brush and also how many layers you apply. It is hard to get this to look cakey, adding a few layers simply builds up a lovely, flawless matt finish. I get complements on my skin when I use this and it’s hard to admit what it actually is, which is my foundation powder. Not only is this my daily fave, it is also what I use for special occasions as I can control the coverage to suit any kind of make-up. Love it! You should own one too.
