L’occitane: Organic Cotton Ultra Comforting Serum
Unlike the previous post this calming product is a serum and you can feel the difference in the texture. The salve was more like a balm whereas this is more like a viscous liquid. It contains cotton to sooth and calm the skin and when I tried this I was using it under L’occitane’s ultra rich shea cream. I went through the small 15 ml container very, very quickly and at $40 a pop I won’t be buying it again. The container has a spurt dispenser and doesn’t allow you to take the cap of and scrape up the last bit of product which is a real shame and a waste. The plastic would be to strong to cut open too. Rather than directly calm or ease skin irritation this product was just hypoallergenic. It did feel nice to use but I didn’t feel like it had any special or long term effect at reducing skin inflammation. This could have been because I was using other products at the time though. There is no perfume or smell, and the texture and feel are very nice. If this had a corner store price i would buy it again and probably regularly. It is overpriced for what it is, otherwise good. 2 out of 5 because of poor value for money. **

Hi amanda i actually tried this and it lasted me, i only used it very occasionally when my skin felt tight or yucky. It really worked for me, i still have a little left. i do agree though i wish it was cheaper.
That’s great, I hadn’t thought to use it on tight feeling skin it’s good to know it works on that. I suppose it would be okay value if you only used a little occasionally.
