La Vie Celeste: Exfolliating Cleanser

30 August 2010 Tags: , , , No Comment

This is an exfoliating cleanser that doesn’t actually feel like it is exfoliating. By that I mean; it’s soft, there are no sharp or abrasive particles in it that I can feel. This is a major plus for those with sensitive skin that want to exfoliate. By being so gentle and non-abrasive it is really suitable for sensitive skin. At first I though It was not exfoliating at all because of it’s softness, but after using it I did notice that my skin felt smoother and was completely free of dry scaly bits. I’d say this would make it suitable for daily use for any skin type as well. I do like to exfoliate but usually recommend only doing it every second or third day as you do not want to risk your skin becoming raw or damaged. But like I said, this is very gentle and seems more like a normal cleanser to me. If you are dealing with a dull or dry and flaky complexion but can’t tolerate normal exfoliating products then I would recommend this for you. It is pink in colour and smells quite nice too. I have been using it in the shower and rinsing off the residue afterward. I always exfoliate using only the finger tips; massage in the product with your finger tips only, never rub or scrub your skin as this will only damage it and cause irritation, even with a gentle product like this.
