I purchased this to wear at a wedding a few years ago and it was (and is) a beautiful eye shadow product. It can be either applied lightly for a sheer shimmer effect underneath or on top of other eye shadow colors or it can be used as a denser colour by patting it on to the eye lid with the applicator sponge rather than smearing it across the eye lid. There is one major disclaimer I have with this though; it stings! The chanel les 4 ombres (quadra) eye shadow range is a neat little black compact containing 4 perfect complementary (but varied) eye shadow shades. Each compact comes with two application brushes and a little faux suede pouch to put it in. Like their lipsticks, the main draw card for me with Chanel is their color pallets; they are very well considered. This particular one, nymphea stood out for me as it contains my four eyeshadow color regulars. Those are pink, green, brown and beige/golden. For the next few posts I’m going to do a Chanel make-up theme and review my top three make-up items from Chanel starting with their new coco rouge lipstick. The thing I love about this range are the colors available. They are mainly pinks and neutrals, my favorite lip colors. Sorbolene cream is the kind of skin care classic that’s been around as long as I can remember, and for as long as I can remember it has always irritated my skin. When I use sorbolene cream my skin stings, and gets inflamed as if exposed to an environmental irritant. I avoid it at all costs as I have a definite sensitivity to something in it.
