I purchased this about half a year ago at the David Jones department store in Sydney CBD. I first tried some of it on my cheeks and nose while in the department store and walked around for a bit before I bought it to test for any immediate skin reaction. After an hour or so of doing other things my skin felt fine so I went back and bought myself a 50g tube of the lightly tinted stuff and took it home.
I must say I really wanted to like this product. I have been on the look out for a good broad spectrum SPF with some kind of tint or converage that would be kind to my skin. Unfortunately I …

This ‘extraordinary’ oil is really pleasant to use mainly due to the nice smell. Its perfume is supposed to be floral but it is a bit more complex. I use this on my body after I get out of the shower. I also use this in my hair if I don’t use a conditioner but only a little, using too much makes the hair feel kind of dry. After towel drying my hair I rub some oil on my palms and comb my fingers through my hair before drying with a dryer to straighten it. This oil comes in a gold shimmer version which I think is even nicer looking in the hair, it has the same conditioning effect but …

I should have learned from dermalogicas sheer tinted moisturizer that I do not suit a sparkly sheen. Unfortunately I didn’t and was convinced to take this home by a suave beauty counter woman under the flattering department store lights. This is why I prefer to shop online – I’m less likely to make impulse purchases. It is way too shiny for my liking and lacks the subtle gloss of dermalogica’s product. It is also heavier, and tends to sit on top of the skin and rubs off easily staining clothes. It does protect your skin from the sun, which is the primary reason I bought it and is a huge plus however I think that there are better products out …

This is my favorite cover-all foundation. It really does last a long time. it looks the same as when you applied it in the morning 12 hours later at night, it’s that long lasting. It definitely provides a heavy coverage and it will look like you have make up on but not as much as you’d expect for the coverage. Spots and imperfections are masked well. I recommend using a bronzer or blush to provide some contour to the cheeks and brow when using this foundation because it really does provide a blanket coverage of the face. It is not sheer at all. If you have a special event where you want to cover skin imperfections this is definitely a …

Chanel mat lumiere foundation is very much like its counterpart, pro lumiere with the exception of… you guessed it… it’s matt. I would say that this is not the best matt foundation out their if you have very oily skin. I have moderately oily skin around my t-zone with dry cheeks and this foundation can start to look a little greasy in around the nose after a few hours. If you have perfectly normal skin however this product is great. Even so I think this foundation would suit most skin types, just not the extremely oily kind. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with it at all. Make sure you get the right color for your …
