Avene: tolerance extreme cream
Like the last post, this product comes in portion sized packets to prevent contamination. It is designed for extremely reactive, allergic skin and should be used during a flare up of allergies, eczema etc where infection needs to be prevented. It forms a protective barrier for the skin and helps it restore surface integrity. There is little danger of your skin reacting badly to this, although it is possible with any product (even natural ones). The cream itself is non-scented and very lovely to use. It applies nicely and requires no rubbing of the skin for it to absorb. Overall I give this 4 out of 5 **** Not for everyday use, but for specific types of skin emergencies only!
