This makeup remover lotion is a great alternative to washing the face with water. Everyone with sensitive skin should know that washing with water can strip away the skins natural lipid barrier and a gentle wipe off cleanser is a great alternative. I usually need two big squirts and two cotton pads to remove a full face of make-up, and half that for very light make-up like a tinted moisturizer. This product is pretty good for sensitive skin although I must say that after prolonged use my skin has become somewhat sensitized to it and it can inflame my skin for a minute after application. Other than that it has been a great no water make up remover that is quite well tolerated, even around the sensitive eye area although avene has a gel based eye makeup remover that is better suited to that. All in all i would whole heartedly recommend this to those with fairly robust skin types and would tell people with sensitive skin types to give it a try to see how their skin tolerates it. One bottle seemed to last me ages so I would say that this is a good value product, even though the initial price is high compared to other lower quality cleansers. Avene is a brand I trust for sensitive skin.
